This book was long overdue. How often do parents simply get a puppy because
little Susie or Johnny is begging for one? The pup comes home and the parents
end up doing all the work. This book offers a definitive way for kids to
participate. Any family with kids ages 7 to 14 and planning to get a dog should
buy this book. While it's easy to read, the author doesn't talk down to kids.
The content is as valuable as that in any dog-training book for adults. Soon,
the kids will be explaining canine behavior to Mom and Dad.
